Steps to prepare Moong Daal Halwa


Ingredients :

  • 3/4 cup moong daal
  • 1/2 cup boiled milk
  • 3/4 to 1 cup water
  • 1/4 to 1/2 condensed milk
  • 4 table spoon butter oil
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tea spoon cardamom
  • 2 to 3 almonds

Methods  :
  1. Drain and grind the moong decalitre coarsely victimization little or no water.         
  2. Prepare one-string sugar syrup with sugar and one and half cups of water. 
  3. Soak saffron in hot milk. Heat ghee in a thick-bottomed pan and add the ground moong dal and sauté, stirring endlessly, over low heat until the decalitre turns golden brown. 
  4. This wants time and patience. don't rush through this step. 
  5. Add the syrup and saffron milk. 
  6. Stir until they're completely incorporated and also the halwa is of dropping consistency. 
  7. Add mawa and cook until it dissolves. 
  8. Serve hot fancy with almonds.
